winter solstice

This is the day where we gather.

And make cute lil coloured round thing

made up of glutinous flour.

Cute huh?

first you have to make the round thing..

pink

plain white

green

then after the water boils, dump them in

Wait till it floats, it means that sudah masak.

Then you put them into cold water to prevent it from clumping together

To eat it, you put some in a bowl,

add some water, boiled with sugar,

Taa daa!!

I finally went for ear piercing about a month ago.

Sight-Reading

我说

人生就好像视奏 (sight reading)

面对的是

没看过的琴谱

有些人一弹就上手了

有些人却得自己摸索

就算是慢慢地摸索

弹了一次，两次，手指也会变得灵巧

有些人，跟着节奏，走到终点

相反的，有些人在半路就放弃了。

而半路放弃的人，永远都不知道那首曲子，

有多么的动听，多么的美妙。

更无法了解，作曲家的心声。

I say,

Life is liken to sight-reading.

With musical scores that we've never seen before

Some will got it very fast

while some will have to try it by themselves.

Eventhough trying is hard,

After you played it once,

or twice,

you will soon turn skillful.

Some of us reaches the ending point,

slowly according to its pace.

Likewise, some will give up halfway through.

Then they will never know

how lovely is the song,

What's more the voice of the composer.
